On my last night in Florida my mom and I went out to dinner. While deciding what we wanted to eat I asked her if she wanted so share an appetizer of coconut shrimp. Her response was, "No, I don't like it." This somewhat shocked me because there was a time when she loved is so much she ate the crumbs off the tablecloth at a high-end steakhouse.
Since I had been craving coconut shrimp since arriving in Florida I ordered it as my meal. I was expecting a lot as it was listed as a house favorite. Boy was I wrong! It was overcooked and chewy. As we drove home I mentioned how my meal wasn't that great in which mom responded, "Well I said I didn't like it... Oh, I guess I should have said I don't like it there. Sorry! It's actually really bad there. Usually I love it!"
Thanks for the helpful tip Gigi!
