A Quick Visit to the Dentist

While I was in Florida my mom decided she needed to point out her dentist's office each time we drove by. "There it is. That's my dentist's office, right back there." The day I left my oldest nephew and his friend arrived. Of course, this meant it was his turn to drive his grandma around.

Gigi had a dentist appointment scheduled while he was there so she dragged him away from the pool to drop her off. Now all of a sudden she couldn't remember where her dentist was located. Was she pointing me in the wrong direction all last week? Did she miraculously forget from Sunday to Wednesday?

At any rate, the poor guy had to spend over 30 minutes trying to help his grandma locate the office. Guess I should have told him prior to his trip to locate the address of each place they are going and put it into the GPS. On multiple occasions while I was down there we missed our destination because she was "looking at something" or "they put up a new sign and I got confused."

Please note that the "new sign" issue was not a new sign at our destination but a new sign somewhere nearby. Once the building on the opposite side of the street has a new sign and we missed our turn into the parking lot because she just "didn't expect that."
