Happy Thanksgiving - Part 2

Here are a few things my mom did in New York City over Thanksgiving... followed by a list of things she did not do in New York City.

The Did List:

• Made it to her hotel room on her own from the airport
• Purchased tickets to a Broadway show
• Demanded matzo ball soup and a bagel
• Had buttermilk mouth because of her oral "yeast infection"
• Saw the Macy's Day Parade
• Wanted to sit in the handicap/orphan section  at the parade (she's an orphan because at the young age of 73 both her parents are dead...)
• Wanted to arrive in New York a day later for $1,000 but said that price was incorrect because, "No one will be flying the day before Thanksgiving. Everyone will already want to be where they are going by then!"

The Didn't Do List:

• Go to see said Broadway show
• Eat her matzo ball soup
• Eat her bagel
• Believe my brother that Duane Reade was the same as Walgreens to get her oral yeast infection medication
• Make her original flight
• Join the family carriage ride through Central Park
