Watch out Africa, Here Comes Gigi!

In less than 2 weeks the family departs for an African safari. That is right, Gigi is leaving behind her many dogs, Eggos and Hazelnut creamer for the wilds of Kenya! Due to the number of people in our family and the fact that we have to take a small prop plane our luggage restriction is 33 lbs per person.

Yes, even I think packing for a trip in a foreign country with only 33 lbs of luggage will be difficult... But Gigi has a jump start on the game and has already started organizing. By this I mean that she has been pulling out the clothes she wants to wear and weighing each pair individually.

Yup, you read that right. Instead of weighing the entire suitcase she is weighing each item individually. This would make one assume she is keeping track of the pounds to add them together at the end. However, this is the same woman who told me a few weeks ago that 2 x 4 = 17. It took her a good 3-4 minutes to realize that wasn't correct.

Can't wait for the adventure to begin!
