Liar Liar Pants on Fire

Sometimes Gigi gets confused on what is reality and what happens inside her head. Over the past year or so we've learned a number of things about her, and ourselves, that we didn't know ever happened! (Because they didn't)

Here are a few of those gems:

1. As a young girl she spent her summers on a farm (Reality: She was raised wealthy and summered on Virginia coast) 
2. She has never seen the Lion King live on stage (Reality: She has seen it twice)
3. My dog in high school bit people (Reality: He would hide and cry if you were even to pretend he hurt you)
4. Every night before bed my dad would read to me from a book of hymns (Reality: Everyone had to take turns praying with me before bed but said book of hymns was never present nor had I ever seen it prior to a few nights ago)
5. She was working at a soup kitchen when a man came in with a gun and she had to protect all the children (Reality: A homeless woman liked her coat and she gave it to her. Not as extreme as protecting children from an armed gunman but still a very nice gesture)
6. Her and my father had to make the tough decision if they were going to go on their trip to Ireland shortly after 9/11 because I was "so young" (Reality: I had already graduated college and was living on my own when the attacks happened)
