A Walk to Remember?

One of my brothers called my mom a couple weeks ago. During their discussion he mentioned that she might want to get out and do some exercise. Taking offense, as she typically does to any feedback, she insisted that she had gone on a 2 mile walk with my aunt that day.

Since my aunt was staying with my mom, my brother asked to speak with her. Of course, forgetful Gigi didn't remember she had already told him my aunt was in the backyard laying in the sun and she proceeded to tell him she wasn't there. She tried changing the subject and finally just hung up.

Luckily he had my aunt's cell phone number! He called to ask if Gigi had in fact gone on said 2 mile walk and her response was, "Only if she had channeled herself into the dog." He came to find out our mom had been in bed during the walk.
