Snow Protector

Right before we left for Africa I popped into Gigi's house to assist with her packing. After a confusing 45 minutes we departed for lunch and I noticed my brother's car in the driveway.

He was leaving it at her house while traveling and there was strange piece of cardboard on the windshield. It was under a wiper and covered about 25% of the glass. 

When I asked Gigi what the cardboard was I figured she'd say it was just some trash. Oh no, she said "I put it there to protect it from the car from the ice and snow." How nice! That one corner of the windshield won't be damaged by the lightly falling snow.
