Buttermilk Mouth

Have you ever tried or even seen buttermilk? It's got a thick consistency that no human should consume. Well that's my opinion.

Anyway, "buttermilk mouth" is a term we use to describe my mom's speech when she has:

1. Taken too many pills,
2. As she puts it, has a "yeast infection" in her mouth*,
3. Or some unknown cause. 

It kind of sounds like someone is eating really, insanely gooey caramels and they really need a glass of water. Lips smacking, tongue slowly sliding across the roof of her mouth like it's covered in glue. You'll most likely hear me use this term again in later stories.

*This is a term no parent should use with their children.
