The Cruise - Part 2

So you will finally get a glimpse of what my mom looks like. I half feel bad for posting this picture... But it is too good not to share. See the picture below followed by the story :)
  
At port in Roatán we went to the beach for a day of relaxation and snorkeling.  During our stay we were also provided a "nature walk". It was pretty much a walk through an old resort where we hoped to see animals. Luckily, we ran into this little guy!

Capuchin monkeys are native to this area and with a cherry in hand they will swing out of the trees, sit on your shoulder, and take if from you. After all 8 of my nieces and nephews had successfully fed the monkey it was Gigi's turn. Things did not go so well for poor Geeg! 

The monkey leapt from her shoulder and started bouncing in the tree. The tour guide told her not to worry... Then this little Marcel lookin' mutha swung down and grabbed on tight to her hair. Instead of simply reaching for the cherry he began smacking her in the face. It is an image that will forever be burned into my memory!
