2012 Pride Parade - Part 1

2012 marked the second year my mom attended the Chicago Gay and Lesbian Pride Parade. Now I have to give her some credit, she did have a shirt made that says, "Gay or straight my kids are great" and she is very supportive.

This year she arrived at my house ready to have some fun. 2 of the girls attending the pre-parade bash brought a bouquet of cake-pops. The bottom of the holder was lined with brightly colored candy penises. Never passing up a good dessert Gigi picked up a piece of candy and said, "Haven't had one of these in my mouth for a while."

After realizing that the candy penis was pure sugar, which she loves, she followed her tasting by stating, "If they all tasted like this I would never take them out of my mouth!"
